The New Mexico Network for Women in Science and Engineering (NMNWSE) and the
Society of Women Engineers (SWE) sponsored a team to compete in the annual “Miner Mayhem” robot combat challenge on the campus of NM Tech Saturday. This is one of the more entertaining and challenging ways NMNWSE encourages young women to enter STEM careers. NM MESA sponsored a huge number of High School and Mid School competition teams. In total, there were about 100 teams competing in this all day event. Many NM Tech students and faculty volunteered to support the event. Thanks to everyone for supporting the effort to improve STEM training and careers in NM!
