Jewel of the Gulf Stream"

Bimini is a string of small cays perched at the edge of the Bahama Bank and washed by the Gulfstream. Bimini is a unique habitat for marine creatures, mingling reef and pelagic creatures with life from the algae-filled shallows.

We hope you will attend this presentation to learn about Bimini and its marine resources. You also will learn about ReefNews, a non-profit educational and research organization dedicated to teaching children about the oceans. ReefNews uses the beauty, mystery, and excitement of the oceans to inspire students to learn more about science. You also will meet some of the women scientists and educators that are making a difference through ReefNews.

You can learn more about ReefNews at their website, http://www.reefnews.com/reefnews.

Nonmembers Welcome!

Sideroom C is reserved from 11:30 to 1:30 for people who like to eat earlier or later, and informal discussion. You are welcome to come for just the talk at noon, and questions are encouraged!
