In New Mexico, the Los Alamos ASM Chapter sponsors an annual Discover-E evening of interesting, interactive and fun engineering, science, math, and technology demonstrations for K-12 students and their parents or guardians - use the "find your fun" search engine at Discover-E to locate events in your area.
AFRL La Luz Academy - an education outreach program at Kirtland Air Force Base, in collaboration with New Mexico Tech, targeting fifth through twelfth grade students from throughout New Mexico, providing hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities, mapped to New Mexico Content Standards and Benchmarks.
