• Project GUTS: Growing Up Thinking Scientifically - a summer and after-school science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) project for middle school students in Sante Fe, NM.
   
• Santa Fe Alliance for Science - a group of people interested in connecting students and teachers in the Santa Fe area to the local scientific, engineering and technical community to improve science education in the greater Santa Fe area.
   
• NMSU's Young Women in Computing Summer Camps - currently limited to high school girls in the Las Cruces area, although plans are underway to expand the program.
   
• Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision Awards, http://www.exploravision.org/. ExploraVision is a competition for all students in grades K-12 administered by the National Science Teachers Association.
